Cossacks Go Horseback Riding in New Jersey!

The world Cossack Association, once a large organization in the middle of the 1900s, is now mainly serving as a foundation of a Cossack Community in the New Jersey area. Cossacks who do not join the Kuban Cossack Viosko, usually end up joining a Stanitsa nearby, or if they do not wish to travel they become involved in the community of the World Cossack Association. This is how the Cossacks came together and decided to take it upon themselves to purchase a horse, learn and constantly upkeep their skill of horseback riding. As Cossack Dimitry Bagaydin mentioned “We had to learn everything from scratch! There is absolutely no Cossack in the New Jersey area who has the time or effort to go horseback riding weekly, and we are happy we have made even this much progress! Our great grandfathers, spent much time on horseback, and it is something we do not want to eliminate from our lives in the United States.” The Cossacks would be happy if other Cossacks were to participate, by riding, or by knowledge they might want to share.
